The application Babylon was a school project I did with two other students during my degree at the ESCIN. It was showcased during the Laval Virtual exhibition in France in 2011, in the students projects contest.
Based on the Unity engine, the application was designed to allow people to visit the famous Hanging Gardens with the support of a virtual reality headset (close to Oculus, but older). You get some informations about the ancient city of Babylon along your journey thanks to pop-ups which appear when you get close to monuments.
Using the few historical sources we found, we recreated the Assyrian city and its Gardens, as close as Babylon could have look like.
